We know how daunting it can be to pluck up the courage to have a new kitchen fitted, but Richard is there to look after you, the customer. From the initial survey through installation to completion, he is there to manage every aspect and with a very high attention to detail, nothing will be over looked. Richard started his career as an Electrician by completing his 3 year apprenticeship, and after a few years of further experience he set up his own company carrying out electrical work of all types and sizes. Diversifying a little, he had the passion to develop a company that could handle every aspect of a kitchen installation in order to make it simpler for a customer to undertake possibly one of the most intrusive and disruptive of household projects. Richard grew up learning different skills and trades from his father Steve who is also part of the Coast and Country team.
Steve is a highly experienced Master Carpenter and Joiner. Growing up Steve was primed with knowledge of the building industry by his father who was a Master Joiner himself. Steve left school to carry out a full 5 year apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery, and after a few years of working as a Joiner, he went on to take over from his father as a Clerk of Works at a private estate. In this role Steve managed others carrying out all aspects of building work across this 12,000 acre estate, as well as getting stuck in himself by carrying out plumbing repairs, electrical maintenance and other building repairs, all on top of his main role as a Joiner. Steve’s extensive 40+ years experience is invaluable when it comes to completing all aspects of a kitchen installation.
Rob started out his career by working as an apprentice to Richard as an electrician, and over 8 years has proved himself as a highly skilled tradesman. As quick and keen learner; Rob soon wanted to develop further skills. Rob quickly learnt from Richard and Steve, among others, all the skills required to fully install a kitchen and carry out a host of other building works. From plumbing to tiling, nothing phases him. With a friendly and understanding attitude he is also very good at managing others and when Richard is not able to be there, you can be assured that Rob will step up and lead the way.
